Dr. Paul Newitt
Dr. Paul Newitt completed his Bachelors Degree from Simon Fraser University in 1988 and received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of British Columbia in1993. He spent two years interning at the British Columbia Cancer Agency before moving onto private practice in Vancouver.
Dr. Newitt has continued his education in dental technologies and advanced aesthetics over the last 15 years.
In 2004, Dr Newitt establishing the Vancouver Laser Group, a continuing education group for dentists studying dental technologies, and created and managed three Laser Convergence Conferences in Vancouver. In that same year, Dr. Newitt received certificates in Laser proficiency from the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, The Academy of Laser Dentistry, and the Institute for Laser Dentistry.
In 2006, Dr. Newitt partnered with Skin2 Laser Aesthetics to establish a joint business model that incorporates the latest in Laser Facial Aesthetics with Dental Smile design aesthetics.
In 2007, Dr. Newitt completed training and received certificates in the placement of Botox Cosmetic and Cosmetic Fillers from the MD Cosmetic and Laser Training centre.
In 2009, Dr Newitt received a Scholarship to attend the California Centre for Advanced Dental Studies (CCADS) and received a level II certificate in Advanced Concepts in Cosmetic Dentistry.
2010, saw the completion of level III and IV of the California Centre for Advanced Dental Studies, Advanced Concepts in Cosmetic Dentistry.
2011 – Dr Newitt completed his level 5 training with the California Centre for Advanced Dental Studies and established Aesthetic Boot Camp, a premium education program for dentists training in facial aesthetics and smile design.
Currently, Dr Newitt is Director of Smile.ca, Skin2.ca, and AestheticBootCamp.com, is involved with the Vancouver Laser Group, the Vancouver Dental Education Centre, and is now an Associate Instructor (level 5) with the California Centre for Advanced Dental Studies.
Tammy Beningerak – Treatment coordinator and Reception
Tammy has been with our office for several years now and has become a significant part of the Smile.ca family. Tammy will introduce you to our office and help organize your visit to be pleasant and comfortable. Her extensive knowledge of dental insurance and treatment planning helps our patients plan their visits appropriately so treatment day is relaxed and stress free.
Tammy has also trained along side of Dr. Newitt, at the California Centre for Advanced Dental Studies and has an extensive knowledge of Smile design and makeovers.
Neda Hakkak - Registered Dental Hygienist
Neda has constantly been described as one of the best Hygienists our office has ever worked with and she continues to help us maintain the periodontal health of all our patients. Neda brings a level of professional care to our office that exceeds our patients expectations and also plays in integral role in the development of our smile design cases.
Neda has also trained through the California Centre for Advanced Dental Studies.
Kim Littler - Treatment Coordinator (Smile.ca / Skin2.ca)
With over 15 years of experience in the dental community and several years working in laser aesthetics Kim brings a unique combination of dental and skin care skills to our office. As part owner and manager of Skin2 Laser Aesthetics Kim can provide a comprehensive approach to facial aesthetics, balancing our high end aesthetic smile makeovers with state of the art skin care services.
Kim has received several advanced training certificates in Laser Aesthetic technology, including the delivery of fractional laser skin resurfacing, stretch mark and scar removal, IR skin tightening, hair removal, IPL skin treatments, and microdermabrasion.
Kim has also trained with Dr. Newitt through the California Centre for Advanced Dental Studies, and is an integral part of the smile design and makeover cases we preform in our office.
